Veritis Launches Flow Generator App for ServiceNow Workflow Modernization

Veritis has launched Flow Generator , a new ServiceNow application designed to help organizations modernize legacy workflows and move toward modern Flows in Workflow Studio.

The launch comes as ServiceNow continues to encourage organizations to use Workflow Studio for newer process automation capabilities. For enterprises with large numbers of legacy workflows, modernization can involve significant analysis, development, testing, and validation.

What Does Flow Generator Do?

Flow Generator helps ServiceNow teams analyze existing workflows, understand their structure, identify dependencies, assess migration complexity, and prepare for conversion to modern Flows.

The application can review elements such as triggers, conditions, approvals, notifications, scripts, wait conditions, and other workflow dependencies. This gives developers and architects a clearer view of existing automation before migration begins.

It also evaluates factors including branches, loops, scripts, timers, integrations, and custom activities to help teams understand migration risk and prioritize workflows.

Now Assist and Workflow Studio Support

Flow Generator can create structured prompts for Now Assist based on an existing workflow's logic. Users can review and modify these prompts before using them to support Flow creation in Workflow Studio.

The application also provides visibility into migration progress, including which workflows have been assessed, converted, remain in draft, or are active.

Veritis says Flow Generator is intended to reduce manual work while keeping ServiceNow specialists involved in testing, validation, and final implementation, especially where workflows contain custom scripts, integrations, complex approvals, or business specific logic.
